May, as usual, was a busy time. Field trips, class parties, field days for the kids. School programs (mostly) for me. And a Japan trip for Clayton. Fun times...
Anya's class went to the Dinosaur Quarry. Clayton was able to go as a volunteer and I think they had a good time.

For me it was the Kindergarten production of Little Red Riding Hood, the 4th Grade Utah program, and the first annual Eagle View's Got Talent. The talent show was an overwhelming success. The sense of pride and unity was astounding. They brought me (and a couple others) to tears. The entire student body was so supportive of each performer. The fourth grader who messed up, forgot, got nervous, and started to cry...it was amazing to hear from the audience (even the "nasty" eighth graders), "Come on. You can do it!" And she stayed there and she finished. I was so proud of all 500 of my kids!
Clayton spent the last week of May in Japan. He had the best steak he'll ever have in his life, so I think the trip was worth it.
Definitely a full month!
